Director David Cronenberg is preparing for a sequel to his 2007 masterpiece. This will be film history as Cronenberg himself has never made a sequel. It came about because of the all research that went into writing the first film. A large amount of information never made it into the film and could be used in the sequel. Steven Knight, who did an amazing job researching the traditions of the Russian crime families will return to write the sequel. Viggo Mortensen will reprise his role of Nikolai with the chance Vincent Cassel and Noami Watts might return as well.
