Adrian Askarieh Talks Danger Girl, Todd Lincoln To Direct

There are comic book films announced daily and finally one of them is one that I actually read. J. Scott Campell's Danger Girl is moving forward to become a live-action movie. Todd Lincoln (The Apparition). Lincoln has also been attached to Hack/Slash which has been in development for while now. Campbell's original comic was very much influenced by Indiana Jones, James Bond and had elements of Star Wars. It will be interesting to see if it will be as stylized as the comics were. The concept is, what if the Bond Girls were the stars of the film?

Producer Adrian Askarieh (Hitman) talked to the LA Times about the project and announced Lincoln's involvement. He said they will be taking a very serious Batman Begins take on the characters but the film will be "highly stylized". Askarieh also mentioned wanting to use the same technology used in Avatar to bring the world to life. He says the stylized approach could be similar to Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch and Kill Bill. Adrian Askarieh is also developing Kane & Lynch, Spy Hunter, Jonny Quest, Just Cause, The Lost Patrol, Hitman 2 and the Leonardo Di Vinci adventure film.
