RUMOR: Marvel Studios Heading To The Savage Land?

Recently CBM has been gathering information helping to prove Marvel Studios is gearing up for a Ka-Zar/Savage Land film. It had been reported by CHUD that Marvel was developing a Ka-Zar film which Kevin Feige later seemed to "confirm" the rumor to ComingSoon. It wouldn't be hard to see Disney financing the project which could be a mix of Tarzan/John Carter/Conan, Jurassic Park , Planet of The Apes and King Kong.

In Antarctica, there were many volcanoes, where they installed devices to maintain a tropical climate. To be observed however, they would need living forms. These living life forms were taken all over the centuries, including the Man-Apes. Soon after, Nuwali and the Beyonders decided to stop the experiment because of boredom. However, the devices were still running and the species living in the Savage Land continued to live.

Later on, a group of humans from Atlantis discovered the Savage Land and claimed it their home. They also discovered the climate-controlling technology and used it to keep the volcanoes working. They mastered genetic engineering. They experimented on the various species living in the Savage Land, and were then forced to work for the Atlantians until they revolted. The Atlantians used the technology to expand the Savage Land. However, the Atlantians were overthrown and the expanded areas in the Savage Land remained.

After some years, the Savage Land was discovered by a man named Lord Robert Plunder who took back a metal which could liquefy all other metals. The discovery of this metal meant that others would want to steal his discovery, so he took his eldest son Kevin, and went back to the Savage Land. However, the Robert Plunder was killed by a local tribe of Man-Apes, and Kevin grew up in the Savage Land, known better as Ka-Zar.

An Easter egg found in Iron Man 2 shows a map of the Antarctic (which is the location of the Savage Land) among Howard Stark's belongings. Which further fuels speculation of the studio's plans to use the exotic lost world. It wouldn't be surprising to see more references in Avengers or other upcoming films.

AvengersNews has been scrambling for possible characters that model/actor Kevin Pennington (recently contracted by Marvel Studios) would be playing in future films. They named Ka-Zar in the group of possible heroes. Alice Eve, who the site had been reporting is still in talks with Marvel after her audition for Peggy Carter (Captain America's love interest) could be playing Shanna. Yet there has been zero confirmation from Marvel Studios that either have been locked into roles.
