Last Man Standing Gets A Writer

Paramount is adapting the graphic novel Last Man Standing: Killbook of A Bounty Hunter by Daniel LuVisi. The book sold out in two hours at this year's Comic-Con and eventually gained interest from studios, Paramount winning the film rights.

ShowBlitz reports that the studio has hired David Leslie Johnson to write Last Man Standing. David has previous worked for Warner Bros. writing Red Riding Hood, Orphan and Wrath of The Titans. The comic is set 600 years in the future, the story follows an invincible soldier created to help Earth win a war against Mars. After becoming a celebrity hero, he’s framed for a heinous crime by a terrorist organization and, after a nine-year prison sentence, escapes to even the score.
